GRLSHRED
From an eighteen-square-meter apartment in Grünerløkka, Oslo, the Grlshred board community was born. Today, that spark has ignited a global sisterhood, uniting girls who ride and inspire across the world.
Grlshred is a growing community of women brought together by a shared love for snowboarding, surfing, and skating. What started as a small crew of 12 girls has now become a movement of over 100 – riding, learning, and pushing boundaries together.
The female side of the boardsports industry has often had to fight its way through layers of male-dominated spaces. At Grlshred, we’ve pushed hard to create opportunities, visibility, and connection for women in snowboarding and skateboarding.
We exist to create space – not just on the mountain or in the streets, but in the culture as a whole. Through meetups, trips, and shared experiences, we focus on building confidence and community in a scene where women deserve more representation.
At Grlshred, it’s not about being the best. It’s about showing up. Riding together. Falling, growing, and having fun together. We believe in sisterhood, in the power of movement, and in telling the real stories behind the ride.
We welcome all girls, all ages, all levels to be part of Grlshred — a space where individuality is celebrated, strength is shared, and every rider inspires the next.
